Veterinary Assistant
Imani Higginbotham
Imani is very excited to join the NAH Family. Imani is originally from Chicago but mostly grew up in the Atlanta area. She attended Wesleyan College where she graduated with a BA in Biology Pre-Veterinary Science and is working on her MA for Animal Science at Tuskegee University. During her time as an undergrad, she's had a great opportunity working with a variety of animals. Imani also worked alongside the Equestrian team where she cared for horses and was also a caregiver on campus for Emotional Support Animals. Imani then became a Veterinarian Assistant and Technician at Critter Fixer Animal Hospital in Bonaire, Ga. She handled avian, feline, canine, and reptile fur babies. She actually has a fur baby of her own and her name is Alaska. Alaska is a five year old all white German Shepherd and she is her whole heart! She can be a sour patch kid, but loves to go to dog parks, go on play dates and go swimming. She would love to meet your fur baby and provide the upmost care for them!
