Managing DVM
Dr. Stacia McCutchen
Dr. Stacia knew that she wanted to become a veterinarian in the first grade, and worked hard to pursue that goal from a very young age. Her interests include anesthesia and pain management, ultrasound, and client education.
Dr. Stacia joins Northside Animal Hospital from Meriden, Connecticut where she practiced at Meriden Animal Hospital for three years. After receiving her undergraduate degree in Animal Science from The University of Connecticut, Dr. Stacia received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Ross University. She completed her clinical year at Auburn University, where she fell in love with life in the Southeast. Since graduating in 2015, she has worked primarily in small animal general medicine but also enjoys working with the occasional sheep or goat. Dr. Stacia also takes great pride in spreading veterinary medicine throughout the community by speaking at schools, churches, and other events, as well as participating in vaccine clinics and working with local rescues. When Dr. Stacia isn’t treating her patients, she can be found spending time with her friends and family, her boyfriend, Shea, and especially their pets. She is a self-proclaimed crazy cat lady, who adores her four black cats, Remy, Monty, Dixie, and Ruby. Her Labrador/Great Dane mix, Magnolia “Noli”, is the absolute apple of her eye. Dr. Stacia is thrilled to be back in the South, and to finally join her furry family with Shea and his two Australian Cattle Dog mixes, Sam and Amy. In her spare time, Dr. Stacia also loves sewing and crafting!
