“Dr. Shea is originally from Corbin, Kentucky. She attended Midway University where she earned two Bachelors of Science degrees in Equine Studies and Biology before completing veterinary school at Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine.  

Now, Dr. Shea primarily focuses on small animal medicine and surgery, but also loves ruminant medicine. She enjoys reproductive cases and hopes to someday specialize in theriogenology. 

Dr. Shea loves to spend time outdoors with her family, which includes her boyfriend, Romero, and five pets! They are a standard poodle named Tipsy and four cats: Pixel, Phoebe, Big, and Little.
