Dr. Kelsey Jean Short (also known as KJ) joins us from Lodi, CA. She received her Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from Thomas University where she also played softball and was even awarded First team All-American for her position as Catcher. She received her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Auburn University where she made lots of lifelong friends.

At this time, Dr. Short is practicing small animal medicine and surgery,  and hopes to incorporate pocket-pet and exotic animal medicine in the future. 

When she isn't at the clinic, she is usually spending time with her houseful of mutts. Her and her husband stay busy with their 1 cat, 2 dogs and 3 ferrets. In her spare time, Dr. Short loves reading science fiction novels and can often be found relistening to the Harry Potter books on Audible. (She is a Hufflepuff by the way) :)

She is very excited to make new friends in both her patients and their owners.
