Dr. Bell grew up in the country just outside of Wilson, Kansas and had dreamed of being a veterinarian since elementary school. She attended Kansas State University where she pursued a degree in Animal Science while working in food animal research and later graduated from Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine. As much as she thought she would continue practicing medicine in the Midwest, love for the warmer weather and more importantly her soon-to-be husband, Josh, has brought her here to Columbus.Her primary interests are in small animal medicine and surgery, but she can envision her rural roots bringing her back to mixed animal medicine at some point in the future. She also enjoys continuing education with exotics and hopes to incorporate more reptile medicine in the future.When Dr. Bell’s not working, she enjoys spending time with her fiancé and her pets. She has two very spoiled dogs, a frisbee-enthusiast blue heeler/border collie named Ava Grace, and a very cuddly suspect Pitty/Boxer mix named Coco. In her spare time, she’s usually working on her next DIY project or planning her next adventure."
