Chad was born and raised in Leesburg, Georgia. In 2017, he moved to Columbus, where he attended Columbus State University, graduating in 2020 with a bachelor's of science in biology. He has always had a love for medicine, both human and veterinary. He mostly has emergency and critical care experience, having worked at Auburn's small animal ER and ICU in 2021-2022. He then attended Chattahoochee Valley Community College, where he obtained an Associate degree of science in nursing. He worked in a rehabilitation hospital for just over a year and decided it was time to come back to what he loves, veterinary medicine.

When he is not working, Chad enjoys spending time with his service dog, Poe, as well as his two other dogs, Ariel and Daisy. Additionally, he and his wife enjoy spending time with their two rabbits, Buster and Moo Moo.
