April's journey has been one of both adventure and commitment, shaped by her love for history, her family, and her passions. After spending some time abroad in Europe, she returned to her hometown of Phenix City, where she continues to make a difference in the community.

Before stepping into her current role at Northside Animal Hospital, April dedicated over a decade to education, where she became known for her fervent passion for history. She spent years inspiring young minds, creating a lasting impact as a classroom teacher. However, after more than ten years in education, she decided to take a step back and explore new opportunities, eventually finding a fulfilling new path with animals.

April is a proud mother and grandmother. Her only son has blessed her with grandchildren, and she cherishes every moment she gets to spend cheering them on at the ball field. Whether it’s baseball, hockey, or any other sport, April is always there, offering encouragement and support. Her personal life is rich with love, too—she’s been happily married to her husband Casey for seven years, and together, they share their home with five fur babies: Rocco, Darby, Ozzy, Boudin, and Harry.

In her spare time, April enjoys traveling, reading, shopping, and most importantly, spending quality time with her family and friends. Her life is one of balance—working hard, nurturing those she loves, and taking time for the things that bring her joy.
