Northside Animal Hospital
Urgent Care
At Northside we have seen that there is a tremendous need for access to urgent and emergency veterinary care in our community. To help alleviate some of this need, we have expanded our hours and services, and hope to continue to do so in the near future.

Starting March 31, 2025, we will be extending our hours on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Friday evenings until 10pm. We will continue our full-service operations during regular business hours, but will have a designated doctor seeing urgent care appointments only from 2pm-10pm on those days.
Clients from all clinics in the area are welcome to use us for our urgent care services, and patients will be transferred back their regular vet when they are available as long as patient condition allows.
Appointments for urgent care visits from 2pm-10pm MWF are not necessary; however as a courtesy we do ask that you call or text when you are on your way when possible.
To call: (706) 324-0333
To text: (706) 321-4718
Please note that wait times will vary based on demand and doctor availability. Patients will be seen in order of most to least critical, and will NOT necessarily be seen in order of arrival.
For the safety of our staff and clients, the doors will be locked after 6pm and you will need to be buzzed in for entry. The bell is located to the right of the front doors. Press the button and a staff member will answer you promptly.
The fee for urgent care office visits after-hours (6pm-10pm) is $200. Your pet’s care team will provide you with a diagnostic and treatment plan estimate at the time of your visit for any additional services or medications your pet may need.
When possible, remember to bring any relevant medical records or information that could assist in your pet's care.
While our services are considered urgent and not emergency, please do not hesitate to reach out to us if your pet needs care. We will make an effort to do what we can for your pet. If we determine they need more advanced care, we can work to stabilize in preparation for transfer to a 24-hour facility.
